Artificial intelligence tools are increasingly influencing how evaluators design studies, analyse data, and synthesize findings. However, the practical experiences of evaluators working in Caribbean and small island contexts are rarely represented in global discussions on AI and evaluation.

The reoundtable will provide a platform for Caribbean evaluators to share their emerging experiences using AI in evaluation practice. The session will explore both opportunities and challenges associated with integrating AI tools into evaluation workflows while maintaining methodological rigor, ethical standards, and credibility.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • How evaluators are currently using AI tools in evaluation practice
  • Practical applications of AI in areas such as data analysis, qualitative coding, and knowledge synthesis
  • Ethical and methodological considerations when using AI in evaluation
  • Skills and competencies evaluators may need as AI tools become more common in evaluation practice
