From Tool to Co-Creator: Building AI Agents for Evaluation Practice is a practical training workshop designed to introduce participants to the role of AI agents as collaborators in modern evaluation practice. The session combines short teaching segments with hands-on activities, guiding participants step by step through the design, building, testing, and refinement of their own AI evaluation agent using ChatGPT/Claude/Canva and other AIs.  By the end of the workshop, participants will understand how AI can support evaluation design, data collection, analysis, reporting, ethics, and learning, while recognizing that human evaluators must retain responsibility for judgment, context, accountability, and meaning.
